Ram Sundar Ramtel, aged 23, the son of Shyam Sundar Sarki and Juna Sarki from Panauti Municipality-9, Kavrepalanchok District, underwent treatment for leg cancer at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. Shyam Magaratiju, a resident of Jackson Heights, New York, had informed the “Kavrepalanchok American Welfare Society-2019” about the need to raise funds to support him further. To gather financial aid for Ram Sundar Ramtel’s treatment, the organization appealed to dignitaries from the Kavrepalanchok district residing in the United States to collect funds to assist with hospital expenses. The organization successfully collected $1517.00 and sent it to Nepal through Shyam Magarati. Unfortunately, Ram Sundar Ramtel passed away at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu while undergoing treatment.
