The Nepal Red Cross Society Kavre Branch has been recognized as a crucial partner in the relief efforts, particularly in response to the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on Baisakh 12, 2072 (April 25, 2015). Immediate aid and support were provided to the earthquake victims, underscoring the collaborative efforts of the Kavrepalanchok American Welfare Society New York (KAWSN). The response to this crisis included donations initiated by US-based Kavreli Families, which resulted in raising funds amounting to $10,133.00.
The destructive earthquake of Baishak 12, 2072 (April 25, 2015, Saturday) also caused a huge loss of wealth in Kavrepalanchok district. Therefore, we collect some financial support from the families who came to America from Kavre district and send it to the devastating area, it will be a little bit of relief, so we, under the leadership of Sahakul Khatri and Om Prakas Dhodari, along with Narayan Timalsina, Uddhav Bajgai Shastri, Radhakrishna Deuja, Balakrishna Thapa, Uddhav Prasad Humagai from the first discussion. It was decided to collect funds to help the earthquake victims of Kavre district. The decision made that the amount was collected
